Winning the Tournament:
The player with the highest points total at the end of the tournament will be the winner. Should there be a tie, battle
points will be the first tiebreaker, followed by sports and finally a die roll (Low score winning). Painting will not be
used as a tie breaker.
The weightings of the categories are as follows:

Battle Points
42
90%
Sportsmanship
30
10%
Painting
Separate scoring system
Gameplay (35 points 90%):
Each game will have score from 7 down to 1 giving a total of 42 maximum points.
Missions will be from the V3 Rulebook rolled for before each round, however each round has already been assigned a
type of battle (Mobile, defensive, etc). Missions will not be played twice. Once played the mission is removed for future
rounds.
A win will give you one (1) bonus victory point. (6-1 becomes a 7-1, 5-2 becomes a 6-2, etc)
Tie Breakers for 1st , 2nd and 3rd are Face Off, Wins, then sports votes, painting votes and finally by die roll.
Painting:
During Rallypoint 2014 all models should be painted. Armies not painted are still eligible but expect to get a low
painting score. Armies consisting of proxies will not be allowed. The painting component is based on a checklist with
a potential 15 marks.
I will be doing the Votes along with two other persons (announced Saturday Morning prior to the first round). Every
army will be viewed three times (aside from my helpers whose will be viewed twice) and the score will be averaged
between the three of us, rounding up in all cases. (Scores of 8,5,6 means your final score will be a 7)
Sports (30 points 10%):
After every game each player will be asked to grade their opponent’s sportsmanship attributes throughout the game
according to the table below.

Description
Your opponent more than occasionally displayed behaviour you would classify as border line
cheating and was not what you expected to face at the tournament. Examples may include they
employed a "rubber ruler", applied differing rules interpretations to their sole advantage, stretched the
rules when it suited etc. This score should be handed out only after careful consideration. Also this must
be clarified with the T.O.
Your opponent's behaviour clearly detracted from your ability to enjoy the game. They refused to
resolve rules disputes amicably or displayed an unsavoury attitude throughout the game - whether too
much gloating when winning or too much bitterness when things didn't go their way. PLEASE NOTE
calling over a TO for a rules dispute is regarded as an amicable outcome and should not be punished.
Your opponent gave you a decent amicable game or better. Your opponent was essentially in line with,
or exceeded your expectations of another player's behaviour. Rules queries were decided amicably.
Nothing they did detracted from your ability to enjoy the game, other than maybe having beat you but
you can hardly hold that against them...
Terrain:
Terrain will be placed on the tables before the first game starts. Terrain must not be moved unless absolutely necessary
during the game. ANY terrain piece moved for ease of play (getting in the way of models) must be placed back where it
came from.
I would appreciate if people able and willing to bring terrain contact me with what they can bring and can contact me
with this information as part of their entry. I would like to have enough to create well done tables with good looking
terrain.
Draw:
The tournament shall follow a Swiss Chess format for determining match ups. I will make all attempts to make sure that
players from the same clubs do not play each other. Grudge Matches are allowed for the first round but will need to be
submitted at the same time as your army list.
Wins will provide one bonus victory point.
