Making the decision to come to college is a big step, and I recognize the investment it
requires. Harrison is here to give you the individual attention you need, from financial
advising to enrollment support to career planning. Ultimately, you are responsible for
your own academic success. However, Harrison offers support, including tutoring and
dedicated faculty and student affairs specialists, to help you achieve your goals.
You will be assigned a Program Chair, who will guide you through an orientation
developed around your school of study. In addition to a group orientation,
your Program Chair will meet with you for a deeper dive into the program you
have chosen.
Harrison is very excited about the lifetime career assistance available to all graduates.
A Director of Career Services is available to discuss job opportunities, résumé writing
workshops and internship/externship possibilities. We host a variety of career fairs
on campus, allowing you the opportunity to meet employers hiring in your field of
study. The Career Services department will make the process an exceptional learning
experience for you.
