TINY TALES—March 27-May 8!
Fridays, 1:15-2:15 p.m. Stories, songs, flannel board presentations, crafts, snacks
and a musical parade are all part of the fun each week for preschoolers and siblings.
Homeschoolers and siblings are always welcome! NO TINY TALES ON GOOD

special therapy dog reading buddy. Bring your own book
or check one out at the library to read to your favorite “furry” pal.
LIBRARY RECEIVES GRANT FOR EARLY LEARNING BACKPACK KITS!
The library received a $1,000 grant from the Metro Detroit Book & Author Society to
purchase early learning backpack kits which will be stocked with books, puzzles, games and
other items to enhance an early learner’s experience with math, ABCs or other interesting
topics, such as: dinosaurs, princesses, cars, superheroes, etc. These packs will be available in APRIL
for you to checkout.

You may put a book in the Library
or take out a book to read. These
books are materials no longer
needed at the Hazel Park District
Library or have been donated to
the Little Free Library Project.
If you visit www.littlefreelibrary.org you can
see our Little Libraries on a map by the number
on each box.
The boxes are located at: Scout Park, Hazel
Park Recreation, Art Park and Tuski Park.
SENIOR OUTREACH
The Library visits senior facilities in Hazel
Park to provide library services to the residents. We visit both American
& Hazel Park Manor once a month.
