PhD-Programme “Auditory Sciences: Physics and Engineering, Physiology and Therapy of Hearing” 1.2 Audiology and Physics of Hearing Description: The course is intended for graduate students and postdoctoral investigators, students of medicine, physics and bioengineering. It aims to introduce the topic of clinical audiological methods to an interdisciplinary audience including engineers, neurologists/neurosurgeons and ENT specialists and psychologists. Cortical Evoked Response Audiometry (CERA) 5. Hearing screening 6. Hearing aids 7. Cochlea implants a. Electric stimulation of the cochlea b. Optical stimulation of the cochlea c.
