5th Annual 5K Run/Walk Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 Registration begins at 6:30am - Run/Walk starts at 7:30 am Course: The race will start and finish at Maple Avenue Methodist Church. The course runs northbound on Kennesaw Avenue and through historic Marietta. Registration: Make checks payable to Miles 4 Major and mail to 2130 Hamby Cove Drive Acworth, Ga 30102 or register online at www.active.com Cost: $25 - pre-registration before August 15, 2014 $30 - late/race-day registration Proceeds: Benefit families who have hearing impaired children that are in need of hearing aids. Awards: All 5K participants will receive a T-shirt and goodie bag. Trophies for the first overall male/female. When parents find out their child has a hearing deficit, they are overwhelmed. In addition, they have the financial burden of paying for their child’s hearing aids out-of-pocket. Hearing aids for children range from $1000-$4000 per ear! It is our deep desire to help alleviate this burden for families through the Miles-4-Major 5K race, in honor of Major Bultman, a 5 year old with hearing loss.
