Welcome to Worship!
It is a real joy to welcome Rev. & Mrs. Brad Pharr & daughter, Hannah,
to our service this morning.
This past week, Pastor Dan’s battle with laryngitis worsened until, by
Wednesday, he could barely be heard when attempting to speak.
Though his vocal cords weren’t working, his brain continued to, to the point
where he thought, “Why not „kill two birds with one stone‟ and invite one of the
gentlemen we‟ve been interviewing for the position of Associate Pastor here at
Heath Church‟ to come and preach for us this morning?”
And so, that is just what we’ve done. Since The Pharr Family reside in
nearby Archdale, it was simple to work out the logistics of their being with us
this Sunday. As previously stated, it is a wonderful privilege to welcome them
to Heath Church, today!

It is a great joy to formally dedicate Baby Evelyn Gail Ruffner back to
God in our service, this morning. We join with parents, Matt & Bethany
Ruffner, big sis, Nelleigh, and ALL the rest of Evelyn’s wonderful family in
this high & holy privilege, today. God Bless Baby Evelyn!
VBS Informational Meeting
Next Sunday, (April 26), there will be a brief informational meeting about
our upcoming Vacation Bible School, scheduled for June 22 – 26. The
meeting will take place immediately after our A.M. worship service, and will
be held in the front/left of the main sanctuary.
If you have ANY questions about, or interest in, this year’s VBS, PLEASE
ATTEND THIS MTG! We need volunteers! Here is a great opportunity to
minister, and have lots of fun while you do it!

On Sunday, May 3, we will be privileged to have Rev. & Mrs. Jason
Baker of Columbus, IN, and their 3 children, with us for the day. Pastor
Jason will be preaching and The Bakers will be providing the special music
in both the a.m. and p.m. services. Heath Church is currently interviewing
Rev. Baker for the position of Associate Pastor.
Graduates’ Sunday
If you are graduating or have graduated from high school or any level of
college, anytime during 2015, please submit your name, school, and degree/
diploma to Pastor Dan or Pastor Bruce ASAP. We want to HONOR and
RECOGNIZE YOU for your achievement during Graduates’ Sunday – May
3 – in the 10:30 a.m. worship service. CONGRADUATIONS!!
Suggestions For Nominations
If you would like to make a suggestion for a nomination for ANY church
office or ministry position, please do so by writing down (1) the name of the
person(s) and (2) the position(s) for which you are nominating them, and (3)
place the suggestion in an offering plate or give it to Pastors Bruce or Dan.
All suggestions must be turned in by Sunday, May 3. You do not have
to be a member of Heath Church to submit a suggestion.

Sunday Nurseries
For families with babies & children up through 3 yrs. of age, a FullyFurnished / Staffed Nursery is provided every Sunday from 9:30 a.m. –
till the close of a.m. worship service.
There is also a Partially-Furnished Moms’ Nursery with one-way
sanctuary view & service audio available. This nursery is open during
all services, and is located behind the main sanctuary, adjacent to the
ladies’ restroom. Please ask an usher if you need further direction to one
of our nurseries.
