Bayeux Tapestry
Produce an A4 fact file
about the Bayeux
Tapestry.
It must have at least 10
key facts. Don’t copy
and paste from the
internet.
Design a Gap – fill activity
Choose one aspect of
medieval life and create a
gap fill exercise. You will
need to write at least 10
sentences and remember
to list the words at the
bottom of your paragraph.

sort of stories would be

3. Boiled Sweets
Board Game
You have been asked to
design a board game which
teaches yr6 students about
Medieval life. You do not
have to make the game but
you do need to show how
the board would look, the
instructions and rules, ideas
for counters etc. Just like
you were going to pitch it on
Dragons Den.

Imagine a timetravelling device has
been invented, allowing
tourists to travel back to
Medieval times. You
have been tasked to
create a guidebook in
which you will advise
tourists on what to
expect from medieval
England.
