Fares and Ticket Revision

From Sunday 5th April 2015, there will be a fares and ticket revision affecting fares across the Stagecoach
Strathtay network. Fares will increase by approximately 3%.
Our fares revision follows an annual review and is broadly in line with increasing staff costs resulting from
growth in the economy. Bus operator costs across Scotland are rising faster than the income generated
from people using the bus. There has been a real-terms cut to the reimbursement paid to bus operators
under the Scottish Government’s free concessionary bus travel scheme.

Return Fares
Return fares are based on the adult single fares above and are available for the majority of journeys.
Return fares generally offer a saving of around 10% on the price of two single fares.
Day return fares are also offered for certain journeys, providing even greater savings.
