Computer Technology:
Can your kids create documents? What about presentations or photo editing? Are they
aware of security threats and how to keep themselves safe? Or how to research effectively
on google? What about creating their own web page? Please Note: Students will need to
have an Apple iPad to enjoy this class.
Sarah-Ann is passionate about kids knowing their way around computers and having the
ability to function in a computerized society, while Kirsty is currently completing a Diploma
in Web Design. This class covers the English, Arts (Media & Visual) and Digital Technologies

Musical Theatre:
Musical Theatre@Heathridge
In the musical theatre class, students will be working on vocal technique, musicianship and
stage performance skills. Students will interact with a variety of musical concepts, and
techniques. This will include some work with learning to read music. We have chosen as a
theme “Silly Songs.” We are working on “Oompa Loompa” from Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory and some other silly ones that you are sure to enjoy at the end of semester
presentation. They certainly are fun to sing! We sure would love to have a few more
students join our class. This class is taught in a relaxed style where everyone is encouraged
to participate, share ideas and have fun!
Musical Theatre@Morley
In the musical theatre class, students will be learning vocal technique, musicianship, and
stage performance skills. This will include some work with reading music. These topics are
taught in a relaxed workshop style with students encouraged to “have a go.” It is a hands
on class with a lot of fun singing and movement. Currently, we are working on a few songs
from the broadway musical Oliver! In preparation for an end of semester presentation to
family and friends. Students will be performing their songs which will include a bit of
dialogue, singing and choreography. Join us! All are welcome!
This class covers the Arts (Music) outcomes in the Australian Curriculum. Classes with be
taught by Erika Riecken, from Graceful Notes Studio. She is a former home school mother
of 7, has a Bachelor's Minor Degree in Music and is an experienced piano teacher who is
classically trained. She has a great enthusiasm to see the kids grow musically together
through the semester.

Tech Drawing Art:
Kids will explore technical drawing techniques with perspectives from all angles as well as
making a beautiful piece of art to keep. In the older ages, we will also look at different
types of technical drawings and their purposes. Kirsty has completed an Associate Diploma
in Civil Engineering. This class covers the Arts (Visual Art) as well as some Design &
Technology outcomes in the Australian Curriculum. Please Note: Some materials may need
to be purchased separately to participate in the class fully.
