This group would be teen directed, looking at different issues within society. This will be
studied through film and media with the use of debates and discussions, literature and
research. This class will encourage confidence and the development of self image, public
speaking and leadership skills, conversation and communication skills. It would be an asset
if all teens had access to an ipad for note taking and research, which also brings in
computer skills, an essential new element in the WA curriculum. Sarah-Ann is an
experienced teacher who has had great success in past classes for teens.
