POSITION DESCRIPTION –After Hours Course Coordinator (Drama and
Theatre)
27 Hours
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 4-10:15pm Friday 4-7pm
Saturday 8:45am-2pm.
ADMINISTRATION
Drama School
Communications
Be the first port of call for parents, guardians and students, handle phone and walk up enquiries,
identify appropriate staff to handle needs, take messages, Manage and update Schools calendar
Theatre and Drama School Safety and Security
Ensure safety and security procedures are followed at all times in a busy after hours environment.
Maintain Visitor sign in process and protocols and provide reports to Management.
Manage lock up after classes have finished.
Hirers
Back up the Drama Administrator on external studio booking enquiries and liaison with studio hirers.
Manage Inkerman St Studio bookings and use
Update the Venue Management system.
Front of House
Front of House duties as required including stock management and ordering
Front of house manager for in-house performances (studio 2)
Supervision of student volunteers for in-house performances (studio 2)
Complete box office reconciliations for in-house performances (studio 2)
Administration
Ensure allocated paperwork from both Drama school is collected, completed and filed as per
instructions from the Drama School administrator and director.
Follow up with phone and web enquiries to prospective students.
MARKETING
Drama
Liaison with Theatre administration to drive whole organisation marketing
Development of updated information, event/season brochures, information packs on the schools
Mail outs
OTHER DUTIES
Stock and sell drinks and healthy snacks from the Bar area
Attend meetings as required as representative of the Drama School and or National Theatre
Other duties as required.

Administration experience
Experience working in an performing arts/arts environment
Exceptional customer service and phone skills
Organisation and time management skills
Basic Marketing/Social Media experience
Computer skills with PC including Microsoft office suite
Salary Lvl 4.1 $850.10 per week Full time pro-rata for 27 Hours
