Summer Reading Club for Adults DXA849
Registration is underway. Pick up your welcome kit at the Reference
Department at both buildings. Since we are escaping the ordinary,
we are going to have themed baskets as raffle prizes this year.
Your kit contains your first raffle ticket. Each time you finish a book,
enter it online at hhhlibrary.org/src. Your entries will automatically
be entered into a bi-weekly raffle. This year the library has invited
the Long Island Romance Writers to discuss what makes the perfect
romance hero at our wrap up party. Three grand prizes will be raffled

SuperReaders Club
Children Entering Grades K-6
During the course of the summer, visit the library to tell us
about the books you have read. You can also log in books yourself
at hhhlibrary.org - click on the Summer Reading Club button to report
on your books online once you have registered. (You will still need to visit
us to pick up prizes and raffle tickets along the way.) Earn prizes and raffle
tickets for participating in the club. Read and report on just 6 books to receive
a final prize! Best of all, you can use the same 6 books that you are reading for
your school district summer reading project! Receive a raffle ticket each time you
report on a book for a chance to win one of our baskets stuffed with goodies
like tickets to a Yankees game, Adventureland and more! Reporting begins on
Monday, June 29 and will end on Saturday, August 8. Raffle winners will be
announced the week of Monday, August 10. Once you have completed

The library hosts The More We Get Together Coffee House for parents and caregivers of special needs children. Parents can sit down
with a librarian to discuss what the library is able to offer and to
listen to your needs and requests. The Children’s Department now
has a Nexus tablet loaded with applications for your special needs
child. This tablet can be taken home for a two week period and can
be checked out at the Circulation desk. Our Parenting Collection is
being continually updated to fit your needs. We are always looking
for ways to help our community so please feel free to come in with
any ideas you may have for us. We are always happy to help!
