Room and Meal Options and Rates Fall 2015 – Spring 2016 · $100 Application Fee (Non-refundable processing fee charged on the student’s 1st application and remains on file as long as the student remains in on-campus housing for consecutive semesters.) · $100 Deposit (Damage deposit that is refundable upon contract period end, once a proper residence hall check-out has taken place.) · $300 Prepayment (For single suites) grants eligibility for a single suite, but does not guarantee it. In any case in which a private suite is unavailable, the prepayment will be applied to the cost of the alternate suite. Acceptance of application and fees by University Housing does not guarantee on-campus accommodations. ROOM OPTIONS Suite-Style Residence Halls: Baker Huger, Bonin, and Coronna · Double Suite – Two rooms and two bathrooms per suite, two residents per room · Single Suite – Two rooms and one bathroom per suite, one resident per room Traditional Residence Halls: Harris (female only) and Conference Center Harris Hall (female only) · Double Room – Two residents per room, community bathroom · Single Room – One resident per room, community bathroom Conference Center · Double Room – Two residents per room, one bathroom per suite · Single Room – One resident per room, one bathroom per suite · Graduate Room – One resident per room, one bathroom per suite Legacy Park Apartments: Equipped with Kitchen, Living Room, Washer/Dryer, and Patio/Balcony · One Bedroom Shared – Two residents per apartment (one bedroom, one bathroom) · One Bedroom Private – One resident per apartment (one bedroom, one bathroom) · Two Bedroom – Two residents per apartment (two bedrooms, two bathrooms) · Three Bedroom – Three residents per apartment (three bedrooms, three bathrooms) MEAL PLAN OPTIONS Vermilion Plan ($1,743 per semester) Blanc Plan ($1,598 per semester) Silver Plan* ($939 per semester) Gold Plan* ($629 per semester) · 19 meals per week and $250 of declining balance · 15 meals per week and $265 of declining balance · 10 meals per week and $320 of declining balance · 5 meals per week and $195 of declining balance · 19 meals per week and $100 of declining balance · 17 meals per week and $150 of declining balance · 12 meals per week and $200 of declining balance · $605 of declining balance Cajun Performance Plan ($2,773 per semester) · Unlimited meals and $500 of declining balance All on-campus residents are required to have a meal plan. Meals can be used in the main cafeteria. For dinner, meals may also be used in Café Fleur de Lis. Declining balance can be used in all University eating facilities: The “U” cafeteria and all of the “U” eating areas, Ragin’ Cajun Food Court, Café Fleur de Lis, and Jazzman’s Café. *Only Graduate students and Legacy Park residents with 30 or more credit hours may choose the Silver plan. *Only Graduate students and Legacy Park residents with 60 or more credit hours may choose the Gold plan. A $24 processing fee is associated with each meal plan.
