PRESIDENT’S CORNER

Easter was a busy time at the Club. The Family Breakfast and
Easter Egg Hunt went down well, it was a neat morning. Our first
kids disco for this year saw the little ones having a wonderful
time. Bingo the Clown and his magic show was yet another
attraction in the school holidays.
A fence has been erected on the rear grounds. This has been
done as a safety measure.
A very huge thanks go to Tom Walker, Rob Firth and Dean Smith
for the building of a flying fox which became operational this past
weekend and proved to be an instant success.. As soon as it was
opened the playground emptied and all the kids were queuing for
a ride.
The smoking area off the Sports Bar has also been modified in
order to comply with the current regulations.
April saw a return visit of the ever popular Abbey Road Beatles
show. A great night was had by all. Coming up in May we have
the Jersey Boys show, get your tickets early if you don’t want to
miss out!
The AGM this year will be held on Sunday 31st May. I encourage
all full members to attend.

Nomination forms for the Executive Committee are
available from the office.
Nominations close 16 May 2015.
Disciplinary Committee
Nomination forms for the Disciplinary Committee are
available from the office. Every candidate for this office
must have been a member for at least two years prior to
nomination.
The election will take place on 13 June 2015 between
the hours of 11.00am and 6.00pm.
Nominations close 5 June 2015.

It is a requirement of the District Licencing Agency that all visitors
over the age of 18 years must be signed in.
As a matter of courtesy, please make sure your guests are
aware that they must produce their sign-in chit at the bar when
purchasing drinks.
