Penitential Service on Wednesday 1st April at 7pm. This is another way we can prepare for
Easter with some prayer and reflection – following the service Father John and Father John Joyce
will be available to give the Sacrament of Reconciliation to those who wish to receive it.
Stations of the Cross here on Friday at 7pm and on Tuesday at 11am at St Andrew’s Church,
Meols Drive.
Compline at St Bridget’s Church, Church Road on Tuesday at 7pm
Be still and know I am God – scripture and prayer at United Reformed Church, Meols Drive
Thursday at 7.30pm.
BIG SING of music for Holy Week led by Alison Adam of the Iona Community on Palm Sunday,
March 29th at 6.30 pm at St Bridget’s Centre, Church Road, West Kirby. All are welcome - singers
and non-singers alike! Come along and learn some new songs. Refreshments will be available.
There is no admission charge but donations would be appreciated.
First Communion – at 10.30am Mass this weekend the children who will receive Communion for the
first time in May will be enrolled. Please remember them and their families in your prayers.
EASTER Cards are on sale at the stall after Mass.
PLEASE remember in your prayers Josephine Sara, a former parishioner, who died recently. May she
rest in peace and we ask God to comfort her family and friends.
MISSIO – any boxes still not emptied can be left at the back of church. Copies of Missio Today magazine
are available at the back of church and are free. Missio plays a crucial role supporting the local Church
overseas by training priests, building churches and combating injustice, disease, poverty and exploitation in
157 countries.
Children's Liturgy :no Liturgy today. Next Sunday: Liturgy for all age groups.
READING GROUP: the next meeting will be Thursday 30th April at 7.30 pm in the White Lion, West
Kirby. The book to be discussed is ‘The Power and The Glory’ by Graham Greene. All are welcome,
including members of other parishes.

which took place recently are available at the
back of church for the participants. Any

WELCOME into God’s family Zara, Chloe and
Braeden Williamson who will be baptised this
weekend. Congratulations to their parents and
godparents.
Thank you – The Ark Centre for the Homeless in
Birkenhead has written thanking you for £169.22
donated via the wall box in the baptistry.
