Restoration of supplV after Pennanent Disconnection.
There existS provision under Oause No. 7.2 of H.P. Electricity Supply Code, 2009
and its amendments from time to.,time and Regulation 10 of HPERC (Recovery of EXpenditure
for Supply of Electricity) Regulations;. 2012 for. restoration of supply after disconnection,
whether temporary or permanent. The provisions of Supply Code and HPERC Regulations do
not spedftcally envisage issuance of PAC at the time of restoration of. supply after permanent
disconnection. It has been observed that field units are insisting on issuance of PAC in such
cases and this office has received such case(s} for approval of competent authority, The
matter was put up to the competent authority and accordingly it has been approv~ to Issue
following guidelines for dealing with such cases :. .

outstanding amount and requests. for reconnection of supply, provided all
other rights of the consumer are intact and all the approvals! permissions!
NOC's from other Govt. departments are intact, the reconnection be done
with recoverY of all the charg~as a new connection,.as per provisio~ of
. H.P. Electricity Supply Code and HPERC Regulatiolls 419/2012. No fresh PAC
is required to be isSued in such case$.. .
2. In c ase it is not feasible to faedthe quantum of load (more than 100 kVA
