WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Legal support staff who are either new in the field, have experience in
only one area of law, or for those in the field looking for a ‘refresher.’
The course will cover all substantial areas of law, including ethics and
accounting. Instructors will include local Hawaii state licensed
attorneys, paralegals, law office managers and representatives of the
court.

TUITION
Fee: $400.00
Students will receive a text/work book as well as a certificate of completion based on attendance and
passing the NALS Course Exam. The NALS Course Exam is scheduled for Monday, September 14, from
4:30 pm - 6:30 pm. In completing the course, students have the option of registering for the ALP National
Exam as well. The ALP National Exam will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 8:15 am -12:45
pm at the HSBA.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a separate registration fee of $75.00 to sign up for the optional ALP National
Proctored Certification Exam Fee payable to NALS, Inc. Registration is available online. The ALP National

• Students must have internet access for downloading printed materials.
• No parking available in HSBA building. Students may use the Alii Place municipal parking with access
on Alakea Street.

A refund will be made if we receive written notification of cancellation five (5) business days before the course however, $25 will be
deducted to cover administrative costs. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE (1) IF CANCELLATION IS MADE LESS THAN 5 BUSINESS DAYS OF THE
