Warden Paul Gowing to act as Chair for this Public Meeting. Chair Gowing to call the
Public Meeting to order and to advise the purpose and effect of the Public Meeting:

The purpose of this County initiated amendment is to amend the County of
Huron Official Plan to ensure consistency with the 2014 Provincial Policy
Statement. A copy of Official Plan Amendment No. 4 is available.

Requirements of the Public Meeting:
This is the required public meeting under the Section 17 of the Planning Act, RSO,
1990 for Amendment No. 4 to the Huron County Official Plan. Notice of the public
meeting was given to persons and public bodies in accordance with the
requirements of the Planning Act.
If you wish to be notified of the adoption of the proposed official plan amendment,
or of the refusal to adopt the official plan amendment, you must make a written
request to Susan Cronin, Clerk, County of Huron.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or
make written submissions to the County of Huron before the proposed official plan
amendment is adopted, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the
decision of the County of Huron to the Ontario Municipal Board.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or
make written submissions to the County of Huron before the proposed official plan
amendment is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to
the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion
of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body.

Chair Gowing requests anyone present from the public who wishes to speak in favour
of the proposed Official Plan Amendment No. 4 to the Huron County Official Plan to
step to the lectern and state their name and provide comments to Council.

Members of Huron County Council are given an opportunity to ask questions and
make comments.

Clerk Susan Cronin to advise that any written comments that were received in the
Clerk’s office were included in the agenda.

It is Huron County Council’s intention to pass a By-law to adopt the Official Plan
Amendment No. 4 to the Huron County Official Plan at the Seventh Session of
County Council on June 3, 2015.
