The Institute of Internal Auditors in Israel (IIA Israel) is pleased to offer the Certification in
Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) Exam Preparation Course in June 2015.
Internal and external auditors are increasingly being relied upon to not only evaluate risk
management processes, but to educate management and the Boards of Directors in risk
management concepts and to focus their attention on strategic risks. The Certification in
Risk Management Assurance demonstrates an individual’s understanding of risk
management at the strategic level and provides a basis for understanding risk across a
number of enterprises.
Review manuals will be purchased through the Institute of Internal Auditors.
IIA Israel, in association with Mr. Scott A. Cohen (CPA ,CIA ,CRMA ,CISA), has
developed an independent review course for the CRMA exam.
Mr. Cohen has more than 25 years’ experience in management and audit and holds the
designation as a CRMA in addition to several qualifications or certifications in
accounting, auditing, IT, project management and contracting management. He is a
frequent speaker on risk management and audit.
June in Israel is a great month to visit with great events and other things to do taking
place throughout the month. Taking advantage of the great outdoor weather, IIA Israel
will offer a 1 full day trip to Jerusalem.
So come join us and prepare to pass the CRMA Exam.

The CRMA is designed for internal auditors and risk management professionals with
responsibility for and experience in providing risk assurance, governance processes,
quality assurance, or control self-assessment (CSA). It demonstrates an individual’s
ability to evaluate the dynamic components that comprise an organization’s governance
and enterprise risk management program and provide advice and assurance around
these issues.
The CRMA is one more mark of professional distinction for internal audit practitioners.
Earning the CRMA will assist you in demonstrating your ability to:




Provide assurance on core business processes in risk management and
governance.
Educate management and the audit committee on risk and risk management
concepts.
Focus on strategic organizational risks.
Add value for your organization.
The CRMA exam includes two sections: Part 1 of the CIA exam and a separate CRMA
exam, which consists of 100 multiple-choice questions covering four domains. The
CRMA exam requires a completion time of two hours.
Candidates who have already passed Part 1 of the CIA exam may advance directly to
the CRMA core exam, having fulfilled that eligibility requirement.
The CRMA exam core content covers four domains:
Domain I: Organizational governance related to risk management (25-30%)
Domain II: Principles of risk management processes (25-30%)
Domain III: Assurance role of the Internal Auditor (20-25%)
Domain IV: Consulting role of the Internal Auditor (20-25%)
The CRMA® Exam Study Guide, 1st Edition, compiles the comprehensive review
material you need to prepare for the Certification in Risk Management Assurance™
(CRMA®) exam. Crucial information is presented in this one-of-a-kind study guide for
each of the four official exam domains:
I: Organizational governance related to risk management
II: Principles of risk management processes
III: Assurance role of the internal auditor
IV: Consulting role of the internal auditor
The CRMA® Exam Study Guide is included in your registration price and will
serve as an aid to taking the exam and also enhance your knowledge of risk
management assurance for audit-related activity.
