QUALITY ASSURANCE EG114 Aim: This Training Course has been designed in order to provide industry with personnel skilled in Quality Assurance techniques/procedures. The aim of the course is to provide learners with knowledge, skills and competencies in quality assurance concepts and principles, the Just-In-Time System of production, vendor assessment, inspection and sampling, quality costs, quality circles, statistics, computer literacy, ISO 9000 implementation, quality auditing and the principles of calibration and to develop their attitudes, personal effectiveness and job seeking skills to enable them to obtain employment as quality assurance administrators, technicians or inspectors. Course Content CAREER PLANNING AND JOB SEEKING SKILLS EUROPEAN COMPUTER DRIVING LICENCE IN-COMPANY INDUCTION ISO 9000/TQM/WCM PRINCIPLES OF CALIBRATION PRODUCTION QUALITY ASSURANCE QUALITY AUDITING QUALITY CIRCLES/EMPLOYEE INVOLVEMENT QUALITY COSTS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT REPORT SAMPLING/INSPECTION STATISTICS VENDOR CONTROL Programme Duration: 23 WEEKS Target Profile Applicants must have reached the current statutory school leaving age. Successfully completed the Leaving Certificate. A Pass in Maths and English is required Good learning ability Good verbal aptitude Good numerical aptitude Good problem solving ability Good communication skills, articulate and a self starter.
