940.716.9300. This is a family friendly event and we are requiring any team that will
consume alcohol on the premises, it must be in a generic container and done responsibly.
Due to the increased liability concerning alcoholic beverages, the following paragraph is
included. Please read carefully before signing. If trlis is not signed, the entry form will be
returned to you and your application will not be valid until it is signed. You may miss the
deadline if this section is not signed.
"We the members of the below named team, acknowledge and understand that we are
responsible for our own actions during or related to the participation in the
2015 H4H Homesteader's Fair and Ranch Rodeo BBQ Cookoff, and accordingly
hereby RELEASE H4H Homesteader's Fair and Ranch Rodeo and Habitat for Humanity
of Wichita Falls from liability (including damages, costs and
attorney fees) for any and all accidents or injuries, whether to person or property, which
may occur as a result of our participation in the 2015 H4H Homesteader's Fair and Ranch
Rodeo, including accidents or injuries caused by or related to the consumption of alcohol.
We further understand that the H4H Homesteader's Fair and Ranch Rodeo is a family
friendly event and does not sell or serve alcohol. I have read the rules and regulations of
the H4H Homesteader's Fair and Ranch Rodeo and agree to abide by them. Any violation
of the rules and regulations will cause forfeiture of any and all prizes won."

PRINTED NAME HEAD COOK'S OR TEAM CAPTAIN'S SIGNATURE DATE EVENT RULES 1. Contestants are not required to be members of the International Barbeque Cookers Association to participate in this event. 2. The entry fee is one hundred twenty five ($125) dollars per team.
3. Set up can begin at 12 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015. The Cook-Off area will be open
all day Friday beginning at 12pm for set up, and opening at 6 a.m. on Saturday
morning. All teams need to be aware that the Ranch Rodeo will begin at 7pm on
Friday evening. Traffic into that area will be fairly heavy leading up to the event and
may delay your ability to get to your assigned spot. You will receive two tickets to the
fair and rodeo for each team entered. If there is no activity on your cookoff spot by
6a.m. on Saturday, May 16th, 2015, and you have not contacted our office about a late
arrival, your spot is subject to resale for the 2015 event. No refund will be given.
4. Each team must have their own pit and furnish their own firewood or charcoal and as much raw meat as desired. 5. All fires must be completely extinguished with water and soil before you leave the area.
6. All meat must be raw when brought onto the grounds and cooked while on site. Any cooked meat presented for judging, found to have been brought onto the grounds precooked will automatically be disqualified from judging. Any meat brought on the grounds needs to be taken with you. DO NOT DUMP MEAT ON GROUNDS. 7. There are limited water faucets available on the grounds in the cook-off areas. We recommend you bring your own drinking water. 8. SHOWMANSHIP-judging will be conducted between 12:00 Noon and 1:00 p.m. Those
wanting to compete must place the red sign on their spot so judges can identify your
space with your assigned number. No live animals may be used in the display.
9. If a team is participating in the People's Choice category, additional instructions will be
given during the Head Cook's meeting. If entering Peoples Choice please bring extra
meat for distribution to the public to be judged.
10.AIIIBCA rules will be followed you can find them in their entirety at ibcabbq.org Head
Judges or Event Directors decisions are final.
