Wells Park. Whether you’re buying or selling cattle, or just enjoying watching the sale and visiting with friends, it’s going to be a great time. More than 500 head will go through the ring, with the bull sale scheduled for the morning. Female cattle will be sold after the lunch break. “The sale is full, and I’m very pleased with the quality of cattle this year,” said W. R. “Billy Bob” Low of Cost, sale manager. “The weather has been perfect this year, and we’ve got some beauties ready for the ring. If anyone is looking for a 4‐H or FFA project animal, we’ll have some high quality open heifers available.” Cattle will be available for viewing Thursday afternoon through Friday morning. The Central Texas ICA Chapter will host a complimentary dinner at the J. B. Wells Park Thursday evening, Oct. 21, for participants and supporters. Refreshments will be available and lunch will be served during the sale Friday, Oct. 22.
