RULES OF CATTLE SECTION
THESE RULES WILL BE STRICTLY OBSERVED
i. ii. iii. iv. v. vi. vii. viii. ix. x. xi. xii. All stock to be free of Brucellosis as per DPI requirements.
In accordance with DPI regulations all cattle must be scanned. Please ensure all livestock have NLIS
devices & Property Identification Code (PIC) and National Vendor Declaration Information on hand.
All entries to be registered with their respective breed society
Age of cattle to be from the 1st August.
Breed, Name, DOB, herd book number or tattoo to be stated on the official entry form.
All stock must be free from ticks, any animals crossing the tick free zone must organise their own spray
with DPI
Bulls 6 mths and over must have nose ring.
Females one year and over must also have nose ring or nose grips.
Under Work Place Health and Safety Act all exhibitors bringing electrical equipment eg. Leads, blowers,
clippers must have current electrical inspection tags.
All cattle must be thoroughly tractable
Breeds to be judged separately within their classes
Any animal shown as an individual exhibit may not be shown with its dam
Calves on Cows must not exceed 5 months of age.

First: $10.00, Second: $5.00, Third: Ribbon
