“Hands on Succulents”

“Quick Ladies Purse”

Will explain and show how to cut and prepare a real cake for this quick purse. Learn simple
cuts/carving, how to cover a cake in fondant from the bottom up, and then accents to finish
this simple cake. This is a quick money maker.
Zane
Chocolate Curl (The Rose), In this demo you will learn how to make the White Chocolate
Curler (The Rose). You will learn when the chocolate is ready to curl and the proper technique
to swipe the chocolate with our curler. This is a repetitive process but your reward is that you
get to eat some of you mistakes. Zane also demonstrate how to place the chocolate curls
onto a cake.

Supplies list for succulents
*Cutters… There are many cutters you have that will work. Cutters that are
graduated sizes work best. I try to have 3 sizes of the same cutter.
*Balling tool and foam mat or sponges
*Tinted fondant or gum paste….shades of green, gray, plum, blue/green, etc.
*Exacto knife
*Drying former….fruit holders that are usually free from your produce grocer are
my favorite but anything will work
*Dusting colors and brush….think about the frosty look that succulents have.
Dusty green, silver, silvery green, gray, plum, rust, red, bronze, gold, etc
*Plastic wrap or acetate folder to keep cut petals from drying out
*Corn Starch in a knee high (dusting pouch)
*Rolling pin or dowel
*Gum glue and small brush
*Any other favorite tools you want to use. I’ll bring extras to share.
There will be Things we can share. If you do not have something.
