Compliance status of all Ideal Clamp Products, Inc :
 European Union’s Restriction on Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronics
Equipment (RoHS) Directive 2011/65/EU. Our products do not exceed the maximum
concentration value limits as specified by the Directive for the following restricted substances:
 Cadmium and cadmium compounds – 0.01% (100 ppm)
 Lead and lead compounds – 0.1% (1000ppm)
 Mercury and mercury compounds – 0.1% (1000ppm)
 Hexavalent chromium compounds – 0.1% (1000ppm)
 Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) – 0.1% (1000ppm)
 Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) – 0.1% (1000ppm)
 Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) requirements
(through Annex XIV 3 January 2012). Clamps produced in the US, Mexico, China, and Poland do
not contain any substances over the allowable thresholds listed in the following:
 Joint Industry Guide No. JIG-101 Ed 4.1 (May 2012)
 Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) (161 substances on SVHC candidate list
(updated on 17 December 2014)
 Restricted and Reportable Substances per GMW3059 (12/17/14)
 Global Automotive Stakeholder Group (GADSL Version 1.0 Revised 2/1/15). IMDS are provided
for our products upon request for GADSL declarations.
 Conflict Minerals regulations.
 Some of our parts may contain “tin” which is sourced from “Conflict Free” suppliers that
are conflict free certified or have submitted for certification. CFSI Conflict Minerals

 California Proposition 65 requirements.


Although our stainless steel clamp products contain varying small percentages of nickel,
an inert component of stainless steel, no exposure concerns are expected to be
associated with the intended use of our products. No warning label is necessary.
Safety Caps, end caps for the worm drive hose clamp, contain DINP, Diisononyl
Phthalate. This plasticizer ingredient for plastic products has been properly labeled
according to Prop 65 requirements.
 Our products classify as “articles” and are exempt from (M)SDS requirements. IMDS are
available upon request.
