2015 Heart of Indiana Dairy Goat Show
The Johnson County 4-H Goat Club will hold the second annual Heart of Indiana Dairy Goat Show on May 10, 2015 at the
Johnson County Fairgrounds, Franklin, IN. All shows are official ADGA sanctioned shows and ADGA rules shall govern. The
Junior and Senior doe shows are separately sanctioned. The base date for all classes will be May 10, 2015.
Early entries must be postmarked by May 2, 2015, or late fees will apply. Early entries have priority in pen assignments. The
show committee will be available to check in dairy goats at 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday, May 9th and from 6:30 am to 8:00
am on Sunday, May 10th. All goats must be penned by 8:00 am on Sunday and are released after they have been shown. All
breed champions must remain for Best Jr. or Best Sr. Doe in Show. Bedding will not be provided.
A registration or recordation certificate is required for any animal six months or older. A registration or recordation certificate
or a stamped duplicate application is required for any animal under six months of age. No copies of the registration or
recordation certificate, stamped duplicate application, or stamped faxed duplicate shall be accepted. Any animal without
papers will not be permitted in the show ring. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to be present for their classes. The show will
proceed uninterrupted.
Out of state dairy goats must have health certificates signed by a veterinarian. In-state dairy goats are not required to obtain
health papers.
The Johnson County 4-H Goat Club and the Johnson County Fairgrounds will not be responsible for any losses, damages, or
accidents which could result in personal loss or injury. No dogs and no smoking are permitted in the barns or show areas.
Show starts at 9:00 am with Showmanship, Sr. Does, then Jr. Does.
The order of the show is subject to change under the judge or show committee’s discretion to facilitate a smooth show.
