How GymBetter Became a Customer Led
Disruption
GymBetter is Medibank’s highly successful gym offering
that was borne out of the need to differentiate in a
cluttered market. Rather than simply offer discounted
gym membership Medibank decided to let
disenfranchised gym goers design the proposition that
led to an offering for those not currently engaged by the
sector. This is how they approached that.
Innovation: Where the Rubber hots the
Road
In business, innovation is not a single event or activity, it is
a process. The term innovation is often synonymous with
fresh ideas however; true innovation is only possible if
executed well. Businesses need to develop processes that
make it easier to execute, and continuously improve on
existing products and services.
Involving multiple
departments and skill sets with the innovation process
will have a major impact on the overall ability of a
company to innovate. Hear from Commonwealth Bank,
one of Australia’s most innovative companies, about how
they have built innovative solutions to solve
real business problems for clients and
