We invite those who seek to strengthen their spirituality and develop their relationships with God through our dynamic liturgy, life long learning, and sharing faith within and outside our community. Artist: Jody Flynn 5692 Central Avenue | Indianapolis, Indiana 46220 | 317-257-2266 3/22/2015 Fifth Sunday of Lent 2 Thank you Stewardship for: March 15, 2015: $ 12,890.25 Thank you for your continued support of IHM. Dear IHM Community, “I shall be their God and they shall be my people.” - Jeremiah 31:33 What does it mean to be God’s people? It means we recognize that everything we have and everything we are belongs to God. We aren’t “owners” of anything, we are merely “stewards” of the gifts God has given us. It means we are willing to use our gifts and our lives to care for our neighbors and the world, just as God cares for us. Blessings, Fr. Volunteer Needed at Boulevard Place The Boulevard Place Food Pantry is looking for a person who could work for an hour or two once a month cleaning the pantry. That would primarily involve dusting, mopping, wiping down the kitchen stainless steel and cleaning the bathroom. One of our two heroes who have been doing this for over 2 years has had to back-off to once a month and that has required the other to do it 3 times a month. It can be done anytime the pantry is not open to clients and the schedule can be worked out with the other two heroes (Marie and Angela, THANK YOU). Please pray and ponder on this opportunity to have a 12 times a year Lenten experience.
