The Mission of
Immaculate Heart of Mary
The Immaculate Heart of Mary parish strives
to be a vibrant Catholic community with the
Gospel of Jesus Christ as our guide. We invite
those who seek to strengthen their spirituality
and develop their relationships with God
through our dynamic liturgy, life long learning,
and sharing faith within and outside
our community.

Thank you for your continued
support of IHM.
Dear IHM Community,
“I shall be their God and they shall be my people.” - Jeremiah 31:33
What does it mean to be God’s people? It means we recognize that everything
we have and everything we are belongs to God. We aren’t “owners” of anything, we are merely “stewards” of the gifts God has given us. It means we are
willing to use our gifts and our lives to care for our neighbors and the world,
just as God cares for us.
Blessings,
Fr. Bob

3 at Noon in the parking lot. You can pick your order up
when you pick up your children from noon dismissal. If
you have any questions, call Joan at 257-2266 or
email [email protected].

Volunteer Needed at Boulevard Place
The Boulevard Place Food Pantry is looking for a person who
could work for an hour or two once a month cleaning the pantry. That would primarily involve dusting, mopping, wiping
down the kitchen stainless steel and cleaning the bathroom. One
of our two heroes who have been doing this for over 2 years has
had to back-off to once a month and that has required the other
to do it 3 times a month. It can be done anytime the pantry is
not open to clients and the schedule can be worked out with the
other two heroes (Marie and Angela, THANK
YOU).
Please pray and ponder on this opportunity to have a
12 times a year Lenten experience.

These days there is a lot of
poverty in the world, and that's a
scandal when we have so many
riches and resources to give to everyone. We all have to think about
how we can become a little poorer.

Haiti Collection 2015
Each year the St. Thomas Aquinas Church Haiti Committee organizes
a collection of new and lightly used goods which are boxed and sent to
our sister parish in Belle-Riviere (B-R). These items are shipped to
Haiti through a program sponsored by the Parish Twinning Program
of the Americas at a fraction of normal shipping costs by Sea Container. Once in B-R the parish assigns a committee to distribute the
goods as needed. This program has proved both effective and efficient,
and the STA parishioners have always generously responded to this
concept. Please take the time to identify your excess or do some
shopping to identify new items which are not available in B-R.
Collection Dates March 1st through Sunday March 22, 2015
Collection Points: Designated Box in the St. Thomas Aquinas narthex
Please bag or box all items and mark them with “B-R” or “Haiti”
