$1000-$1250 a month, plus housing
To provide leadership for King’s Way in the music portion of its worship services. In regards to the
music portion of the service, ensure an environment exists for the people attending King’s Way
can corporately glorify Jesus Christ. On Sunday morning it is our goal with they will connect with
JesusChrist.
Understand what it means to lead people into the presence of God through corporate worship. Be
competent and skillful musically with vocals as well as guitar or piano. Has experience in leading
worship teams. Basic understanding of how sound systems work. Have a basic understanding of
multi-media equipment, (computer, projection and lighting). Have some youth ministry
experience. Willing to learn to minister in a small city/rural environment, learn the culture.
Encouraging and able to disciple volunteer help. Growing in a life following Jesus.
Lead two weekly Sunday morning worship services. Assist Pastor in once a month Sunday night
worship service. Lead, train and recruit multiple worship teams. Oversee, recruit, train
sound/lighting/ media volunteers for Sunday Service. Ensure sound/ media equipment is
maintained. Assist Youth Director with a weekly youth worship service, retreats and camps, (i.e.
music).
Work with our volunteer choir director to help her be successful in seasonal presentations (once or
twice a year). Be flexible with duties, in particular with seasonal events. We work as a team.
Events (Fall, Christmas, Easter and summer camps) are a team effort and require all of us to think
outside of the box. As church grows numerically, salary, time and responsibilities will increase.

Ontario First Lutheran is looking for a pianist/keyboardist for their contemporary worship
service. Must be able to attend one weekly rehearsal, Sunday morning services, as well as holiday
services. Vocal ability is a plus. Position is available for hire immediately.
-Ability to collaborate with volunteer musicians
-Ability to sight-read chord charts, hymns, and simple piano scores
-Consistent availability on Sundays and weekly rehearsals
Sight reading, pop chart reading, and the ability to collaborate with a team of amateur musicians
