A Message From Pastor Milton
Today, we are excited the have the years 3 & 4 students from
Bethany Lutheran Primary School taking part in services at
Bethany, Grace and St. Johns. The theme of their
presentation is “Celebrations.” The children will remind us how
we celebrate Lent, Palm Sunday, Holy Week, Good Friday
and Easter Sunday. We thank the teachers and the students
for reminding us of these important celebrations.
Today, we are celebrating Palm Sunday. There will be lots of
palm branches in our churches, which remind us how Jesus rode into Jerusalem
to the shouts of the crowd, the waving of the branches and the royal highway of
clothes. Jesus was riding on an unridden colt. He is coming to Jerusalem as the
king.
May we all celebrate Jesus as our king, Lord and Saviour as we begin this most
holy of weeks.

Welcome Bethany School Children
Today across the parish we have the Bethany School Children from Yrs 3/4A, Yr
3A and Yr 4 in Church. We would like to extend a warm welcome to them along
with their teachers and families as they join with us in worship this morning.
Palm Sunday potted palms in church today
A special thank you to Jim and Jan from Karalee nursery for providing us with our
palms for St John’s church decorations today. If you require good quality plants
please remember to call and see Jim and Jan at their nursery on Mt Crosby Road
Karalee.
Parish Women's Guild – Wednesday 1st April
We are meeting on Wednesday 1st April (instead of Thursday for this month only)
at 9.00 in St John's hall. Pastor Milton will lead us in a Bible study followed by a
"Pastor's Talk". Please join us. All are welcome.

Gala Dinner – Tabeel Lutheran Home 60th Anniversary
To celebrate this special occasion a gala dinner is being held on the 18th April
commencing 6pm at Laidley Cultural Centre. Guest speaker is Rugby League
legend Wayne Bennett. The night consists of a three course dinner, lucky door
prizes and silent auction whilst being accompanied by live entertainment. Tickets
