Main Idea:
God has blessed me with more than I need. I’m rich. I will not trust in riches, but in Him who richly provides.
Because I have more, I will give more.
Key Questions:
• Describe a time when you gave something to bless someone else and in return you were also
blessed.
• What blessings have you seen from tithing? If you’re not tithing, what strategy do you have for
giving?
• How are you going to be more generous in your giving?
Optional Questions (If needed, include one or more of these Scriptures and questions to extend
your conversation):
• With your Bible or using YouVersion, read and discuss 2 Corinthians 9:6-15, 1 Timothy 6:18,
Malachi 3:10, and Luke 21:1-3
• Do you think God really needs our money? Why or why not?
• How did your parents’ attitude toward giving affect your own?
• Is God truly first in your life? If not, what are you going to do about that question?
• If someone were to look at your check book (or how you spend your money), what would it say
about your heart?
