PGA SOUTH ORDER OF MERIT 2015
'Q' SCHOOL INFORMATION & EXEMPT PLAYERS
The PGA in England (South) Order of Merit is again being sponsored by Virgin Atlantic and will
be known in 2015 as the Virgin Atlantic PGA South Order of Merit.
The Virgin Atlantic PGA South Order of Merit ‘Q’ School will be held as follows:
Either:
Kingswood GC, Surrey
Thursday 12 March 2015
Or:
Sand Martins GC, Berkshire
Wednesday 18 March 2015
Or:
Mid Kent GC, Kent
Tuesday 31 March 2015
The top 75 Professionals from the ‘Q’ School venues, divided between all venues, subject to
the starting fields, will receive priority ranking category for entries into each Virgin Atlantic
PGA South Order of Merit tournament. Professionals finishing outside the top 75 at the ‘Q’
School will also receive a ranking category, in finishing order at the ‘Q’ School, and their
entries will be considered before Professionals who have not attended the ‘Q’ School.
The Exempt Players for 2015 will be the previous year’s Top 25 Professionals from the Regional
Order of Merit and Top 3 of Assistants & Trainees Order of Merits. In addition for 2015, the
Leading non-Exempt Professional from each County PGA 2014 Order of Merit will also be
Exempt for the Regional Order of Merit events. Exempt players are not required to participate
in the ‘Q’ School but register via BlueGolf before their first Order of Merit tournament.
The top 3 eligible players in this year’s Virgin Atlantic PGA South Order of Merit will qualify to
represent The PGA in England (South) in the PGA Playoffs at the end of the 2015 season.
 Entry Fee - £100
 Closing Date for ‘Q’ School Entrants - 5.00pm 2 weeks prior to each ‘Q’ School event.
