E-‐POSTERS GUIDELINES An e-‐Poster consists of one slide basically equivalent to a traditional Poster, but presented on a large computer screen. ISBTS 2015 will be using 42" LCD displays in the portrait position. To prepare your e-‐Poster, use PowerPoint format. You may use the sample template attached. Posters are to be presented in portrait view, with slide dimensions of 14,29 cm width by 25,4 cm height (aspect ratio 16:9) File Size: no larger than 2 MB Font: Arial, Verdana, Calibri or Tahoma. Font Size: For Title-‐32 points in bold and capital letters. For text-‐ 9 to 12 points minimum Background color: you may change the color of the template, but please note that for presentations light-‐colored fonts on dark backgrounds are recommended. A well-‐constructed poster is self-‐explanatory, achieving both coverage and clarity. Less is more. Be clear and concise with poster design and content. Overcrowding a poster makes it difficult to read. The e-‐Poster must include: Title, author/s, first author email. Then include the Introduction (with the Objectives or relevant information), Material and Methods, Results and Conclusions. Include your e-‐Poster number in the upper right corner (number provided on your notification letter). Font size: 18 bold Animations, sound or videos are not permitted. Charts and figures must be inserted as images. e-‐Posters must be uploaded to Congress Management System. In the dashboard, click on “My Lecture” and the edit button. At the bottom of the page you will find the e-‐poster upload option. Upload will be permitted up until May 8, 2015. Accepted abstracts which do not have the corresponding e-‐Poster will not be published. Participants will be able to view posters during lunches and breaks. You are required to be available during your scheduled poster presentation indicated on your notification letter.
