His current book project is American Possessions: Consuming Religions and Fighting Demons in the Contemporary United States. The featured presentation will map the boundaries that the writers of Third Wave evangelical spiritual warfare handbooks mark between the satanic and the godly, finding the demonic in other peoples’ religious practices, cultural materials, and political parties.
