High-‐Vu is the Info-‐Vision digital signage content management module that offers a robust platform for managing digital signage content and shows (or channels) that can play back on a variety of devices. This entirely web based solution is simple to learn, easy to manage and has been installed in 100’s of customer locations around the world. 4 High-‐Vu can be used for simple messaging and lobby type applications or can be used in a live Database environment providing real time statistics information from SQL databases or call center equipment or it can be used for sophisticated rich multimedia presentations with audio, video and images. High-‐Vu can be used with a number of industry standard browsers such as IE, Firefox and Chrome and does not require any special runtime player software. Content can be easily uploaded into the library or via a bulk upload form, making PowerPoint presentation upload simple and easy. The built in scheduler allows you to specify the exact time that a content item will play, users can easily edit and add ticker messages to the show and a general tab will allow the user to push ticker messages to all shows at once. The emergency override channel is designed to play a specific emergency show on all screens for an indefinite period or until the point that the user turns off the override. The High-‐Vu player can support a wide variety of video and multimedia formats such as MP3, MP4, H264, RTP and MMS live streams, audio streams, and Flash movies. A standard TV tuner can be used with the High-‐Vu server and can be used to rebroadcast video channels to all other signage players. Users can pre-‐select the channels to play. The editing capabilities of the High-‐Vu program allow the user to easily and quickly change the content and does not require the player to be re-‐started. The High-‐Vu platform can support many hundreds of channels or shows and offers a flexible and easy to use design tool for content or digital channels. This solution can run in both a behind the firewall or in a public network if required, and can support access via Wifi if required.
