The AEHR Charge Capture Integration function that allows charges for professional services to be
entered into the AEHR, which passes to PPMS is coming to your clinic next week. Be sure you have
completed your LEARN training to be prepared for this system and process change. The designated
courses for each clinic staff members are listed below.
Charge Capture Pre-requisite
Users must attend Charge Capture Training specific to their role prior to completing Charge Capture
courses on LEARN. Users must have working knowledge of AEHR before completing the AEHR
Charge Capture training.
 Providers and Clinicians: Must have working knowledge of AEHR Only.
 Billers and Coders: Users must have working knowledge of both AEHR and PPMS.
Charge Capture Training
OneCare AEHR Charge Capture for Billers and Coders (26 minutes)
Audience: Central Billing Office or anyone that will be performing billing and coding duties.
Description: Using the AEHR Charge module for the purpose of reviewing charges submitted by a
provider and/or clinical staff member and importing charges into PPMS.

OneCare AEHR Charge Capture for Clinical and Ancillary Staff (20 minutes)
Audience: Clinical Staff
Description: Using the AEHR Charge module and associating orders to the correct Encounter to
submit charges to the Billing Office.

OneCare AEHR Charge Capture for Provider (25 minutes)
Audience: Provider
Description: Using the AEHR Charge module and associating orders to the correct Encounter to
submit charges to the Billing Office.

Users should have access to AEHR Charge Capture after completing the course. No additional
access is needed.
Go-Live support
Two levels of support are available for your clinic to help you effectively begin using the charge
capture integration feature.
1) Your clinic should have a designed super user.
Contact your super user first if you have workflow or process issues using Charge Capture.
2) A virtual Command Center – staffed by teams of both AEHR and PPMS analysts –
Call the Command Center for help with AEHR or PPMS system issues.
The Command Center is open Monday – Wednesday of go-live week
Hours: 7 a.m. until the last clinic closes each night.
