We are adding this title for Bonnie to reflect more integration of the degree program into the Center going forward. Bonnie Taub is a medical anthropologist and public health educator and researcher whose courses form the core of the Latin American Studies health curriculum, and whose mentorship is vital in the Latin American Studies / Public Health interdepartmental MPH/MA program. Her research interests include global children’s and family health, mental health, exploration of traditional medicine and shamanism with Western medicine, indigenous peoples, human rights, qualitative research methodology, video ethnography, surgical anthropology and cultural competency for clinicians in the United States and worldwide.
