1. NB Spectator/support RIBs must keep well clear of the Race Area. Failure to do so could result in the
sailor associated with this RIB being disqualified.
2. Should an emergency arise, it is understood that all spectator/support RIBs, be prepared to
participate in safety/rescue duties under the direction of the safety officer.
3. All spectator/support RIBs are required to display the flag presented to them at RIB registration, this
will become the RIB callsign. A returnable deposit of 20 euro is payable for the flat upon registration and
will be returned when the flag is handed back at the end of the Regatta. Please try to ensure that you
have a 20 euro note at registration.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE: The safety of a boat and her entire management including insurance shall be
the sole and inescapable responsibility of the owner/person in charge who must ensure that the boat
and crew are adequate to face conditions that could arise during the event. Neither the organising
authority nor the host club, their officials or volunteers shall be responsible for any loss, damage, death
or personal injury however caused as a result of any person taking part in the event. Each helm in charge
is responsible for ensuring that boat has adequate third party insurance cover to a minimum of
£2,000,000 or equivalent. RIB birthing is at owners risk.
