Every Stingher is unique
Stingher Ribs are a luxury hand-crafted boat, made by
professionals in both the United Kingdom and Italy. They
are the creation of Giuseppe Risolo who is the chief
designer of the world-renowned ‘Risolo’ design studio
and this year marks thirty years of production for him
and his family.
It’s hard to have a unique selling point in such a
competitive market. We believe that for Stingher
Ribs, we’re known for our attention to detail in the
build quality and our constant drive to better this.
Our philosophy is that by standing still, you are going
backwards. With technology and design improving at
such a rate, what seemed cutting edge just three years
ago is not good enough for today and tomorrow’s
customers.
MRL have been the sole importers of Stingher Ribs into
the UK, Channel Islands and Eire since 2004. During that
time we have forged a strong relationship with Giuseppe
and his factory. Such close ties means that we can work
alongside the designers, understanding what is coming
in the future and helping with the development of new
products and new markets.
In 2010 we realised that the market was about to
undergo a step-change as our customers wanted to
have something more. Something different. Something
that stood out from the other Ribs in the market and
showed them as a connoisseur. So after a period of
research into what was possible, we decided to set up a
Custom department. It’s been a success from the start
as our customers have become more and more involved
in the development of their boat. Each rib is individually
built to the owner’s exact requirements and needs.
There is no standard specification. There is a standard
quality we strive to exceed but the end result is up to the
customer as we build each one to match requirements.
This enables us to supply and fit your chosen equipment
whether it be a specific engine to navigation systems.
Based in Italy, Giuseppe is passionate about everything
he does and uses his skills and knowledge he acquired
from ten years of professional racing when shaping
and designing every hull. This means that every boat
is hand-laid at the factory in Italy by a dedicated team
of GRP experts prior to the tubes being fitted. It is then
shipped to Southampton, to be Custom build to match
the exact requirements of the customer.
We are often asked why we personalise each product so
much instead of providing a very standardised product.
The answer is simple to us. We believe this is one of the
best quality and highly finished Ribs on the market and
that is what the Stingher customer wants. To see highquality and personality in every line and fitting.
By taking a well-designed hull and coupling it with
market-leading tubes, we gather the best of British
craftsmanship upon the boat’s arrival in the UK. We
believe that by sending it through our Custom division
so that it truly fits your needs, we can turn your dreams
into reality.

Caribbean and also the world wide dealer for super

It’s your choice. We give you a choice of console, electric
windlass, sea toilet, or electric cool box. You can have
your preference for seating, whether it be to shock
mitigation, electric bolster, or straight forward jockey.
Like a child in a toy shop, the colour scheme is entirely
up to you. We’re happy to advise you through the
process as you pick the gel colours, tube colours,
decking, upholstery, covers, even bathing ladders. This
is your chance to create a bespoke Stingher and our
chance to turn your dreams into reality.
The Stingher 606 GT is the entry boat to the Stingher
range, and what an entry boat. With a generous beam
and a well designed deck, the 606GT feel a lot bigger
than its size. This Rib is fitted with more extras as
standard than most manufacturers “flag ship models”.

With all Stingher Custom RIBs quality comes as
standard, yet everyone is different and design is a
matter of personal taste. We understand that a ‘one

give our customers the ability to design their boat to

At 6.16m and with a race pedigree hull the boat rides
the waves beautifully, with no slamming and perfect
balance, as a Category B well designed and sorted Rib
should.

606 GT
Stingher Custom Design was created with the latest in
design, technology, and high quality materials to custom
build you an individual Stingher. It is available exclusively
from MRL.
The hull is built to the same exacting standards and
shares the same build quality of it’s larger stable mates.
Fitted with a 250 litre fuel tank, when matched to the
latest high efficiency engines, you have the potential
range of 300 miles.
There is a wide range of seating, decking and upholstery
options available from our Custom division.
Storage is good on all Stinghers, and the 606GT
does not disappoint. Huge lockers to store your skis,
doughnut ring, wakeboard, and most importantly cool
box. Relax on the aft seat or just lay out on the sun deck
cushions and sip on an ice cold drink.
The Stingher 680GT is the first joint design by MRL and
Risolo design.

680GT
It has a beautifully designed high performance deep
V hull, with a fine point of entry, fantastic handling,
and stability. From questionnaires that we sent out
to customers we listened to what your ideal deck
layout would be, something to suit both the family and
enthusiast.
This was achieved by designing a console, with a slim
base to give more deck room which allows ease of
movement around the RIB. Whilst at the same time
making console dashboard much bigger which in turn
allows larger screen GPS, and audio equipment to be
fitted without causing any clutter. You are also able to fit
a flush mount centre throttle.
The next thing was to create a horseshoe shaped
seating area into the raised sundeck to provide a dining
area for 6 people. The RIB is supplied with a detachable
dining table which stows away in the front locker when
not in use.
Under the forward sundeck is one huge storage locker
which opens to one side on gas struts into which you
can store all the sundeck cushions, plus much more.
This locker is also able to be locked for security.
The 680GT has a rear stern seat for 3-4 people, with
storage underneath, and a full range of helm seating for
you to choose from.
The remainder of the specification is very high including
250 litre stainless steel fuel tank, fresh water shower,
bathing ladders, hypalon tubes, LED navigation and
deck lights. Many more options are available from our
Custom division.
This Stingher 680GT is a group B category, and is
capable of going out in rough seas, whilst providing a
soft, dry ride for you and your crew.

STINGHER
800GT Sport
The Stingher 800GT is our best selling model, loved by
our customers and the marine press.
First produced in 2006, the 800GT Sport has evolved
into one of the best 8.0m RIB’s available today. Sure
footed, dry, with impeccable handling this RIB sets a
benchmark by which other RIBs are measured.
In a recent article Alex Smith mentioned some of the
things he likes about it.
“However, the real highlight on board this boat is not the
styling or the attention to detail but the helm station.
The raked and intelligently undercut console comes with
an angled foot brace, plus a pair of electrically operated
drop-down bolsters... For me, it’s as close to the perfect
driver’s set-up as you could reasonably want.
From stem to stern, the execution
of the new 800 Sport
Custom is rigorous, consistent and unstinting.
When you push on, the surge is rapid, unremitting and
impressively linear at every point in the rev range
Happily, the sophistication of the styling is matched by the
maturity of the features list and the quality of the finish.
This is a great driver’s boat so you will want to explore
the top end, and here, virtually flying with the engine
revolutions at 6,300, the boat exhibits another trait
common to Stingher RIBs - that of graduated obedience.
If you want to settle the hull back down you can do so
with the greatest ease, not by coming off the gas but by
easing back the trim. Come in a notch and the hull grips
a little more. Do it again and the reassuring contact
between hull and water’s surface is further increased.
All of which makes this one of the most comfortable,
composed and reassuring RIBs I have ever driven.”
The 10 metre was recently
tested, at the same time as
the Scorpion Sting 10 metre
cabin Rib and Hunton 904
inboard by Paul Lemmer on
behalf of RIB International in
a very choppy force 7 in the
Solent. On the day, it was
the only Rib to achieve full
power at 51 knots, whilst at
the same time to remain dry
other than side spray from
the wind. It was rated by him
as one of the most capable
10m hulls available.
The Stingher 10 metre is the flagship of the range.

Designed from the knowledge gained in 30 years boat
building, and a passion for perfection. The Stingher 10
metre is equally at home being used a large family
sports Rib, as it is when chosen as a Super Yacht tender.
Whether used in the Mediterranean, Caribbean or the
Solent.
The position of the helm unit is extremely comfortable
with its side bolsters giving you very good lateral
support, and houses the electric fridge and stainless
steel sink. However we do have several styles of
alternative seating available.
The main console not only has lots of room for your
instruments and gauges on its Carbon fibre facia, it
also has a large door in the front, with built in seat, that
opens up to reveal a fully operational toilet area that
doubles up as a changing room or lockable storage area.
The front sundeck has four huge lockers, and an eight
seat dining area, complete with detachable table.
It is fitted as standard with an electric windlass, electric
shower, bathing platform, bathing ladders, flexi teak
decking, bimini cover, fridge and full audio system.
The Rib will take up to twin 350hp engines, although the
most popular choice is twin 300hp engines.

We recently had a 10 metre fitted with twin Mercury
350 Sci engines. Capable of 63 knots, and developed by
seven times World Champion Neil Holmes. Described
by Alex Smith of Sports Boat and Rib magazine in a test
as...
What we have here is a fearsomely good boat that I have
no doubt with its breadth of abilities and its aggressive
pricing will see it toppling some very big names in the
World of luxury Ribs.

9 metre Cabin
A true overnighter
The latest creation in the Stingher range is the long
awaited 9.0m cabin RIB. This beautiful craft was two
years in the making from design to launch.
The build quality is superb and the standard equipment
second to none. This really is a weekend RIB, giving you
the optimum passenger comfort, and flexibility.
The cabin has a seating area which converts into 2-3
berths. There is a full height shower and sea toilet fitted
in the corner unit, along with loads of storage space
underneath the beds. The cabin is fitted with a stereo
head set that incorporates an IPod player. The door into
the cabin from the deck is tinted and fully lockable.
The rear deck has a horseshoe shaped seating area for
6 people around a central dining table that is stow able
when not in use. Fitted in the helm unit is an electric
fridge, gas cooker, and sink with electric pumped water.
The double helm seat is offset to starboard which
allows for a central driving position for the helmsman.
The console dash is designed to give you an uncluttered
view of your navigational equipment.
Forward of the helm is the front sundeck complete
with cushions and stainless steel fenders rails down
each side.
For ease of mooring this RIB is fitted with an electric
windlass with stainless steel anchor.
Complete with a 330 litre fuel tank, bathing platform
with ladders, rear shower, LED deck lights and engine
bay lights, and a shore power option this really is a fully
fitted out Cabin RIB
You have the option of single or twin engine installation
with a top speed of approx 48 knots and cruising at 35
knots depending on engine choice.
