PANDORA FOUNDER TIM WESTERGREN TO SPEAK AT INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY’S 2015 COMMENCEMENT San Jose, CA – 5/13/2015: International Technological University (ITU) will honor Pandora Radio Founder Tim Westergren at its 2015 Commencement Ceremony. At the event, Westergren will receive a Resolution of Appreciation from the university and share his unique insights with ITU’s recent graduates. Westergren has a wealth of experience to share from his time in the music industry. In 2000, Westergren founded online music streaming service Pandora Radio. Westergren’s vision and years of work with distribution partners, rights holders, legislators, performers, advertisers, and the Pandora team, helped shaped the company and ushered in a new era of personalized Internet radio. The company went public in 2011 and was estimated to be worth about $100 million at the time of its initial public offering. ITU’s 2015 Commencement will celebrate the university’s largest graduating class to date. The university will honor over 200 new graduates at the ceremony and anticipates over 600 people to attend the event in total.
