OBJECTIVES
International Mining Congress and Exhibition of Turkey
which has been biannually organized since 1969, is the most
important mining event of Turkey that reached over 1000
participants and brings together academicians, engineers,
managers, consultants, decision makers, policy makers, investors, industry specialists, buyers and suppliers from all
over the World.
Scientific, technical and social issues will be dealt with
during the sessions that will take four days and together
with, the latest technological products and developments
in the mining industry will be able to seen in the exhibition
area.
The Congress will provide new opportunities for delegates with regard to joint ventures and business development through meetings, social and cultural events and tour
and field trips.
CALL FOR PAPERS
Authors who would like to attend the Congress with a paper
should submit an abstract not to exceed 400 words, before September 8, 2014 through the “Online Abstract/Paper Submission
System” at the Congress website or via e-mail. Authors will be
notified about the acceptance of their abstracts before September 22, 2014.
Upon approval, authors will be invited to submit a full paper by January 5, 2015. Papers submitted for publication will be
fully refereed. The accepted papers will be presented by their
authors in oral or poster presentation sessions according to the
referee reports and be published in an e-Book of the Congress.
All registered attendees of the Congress will receive one copy
as a CD-ROM.

word template and once you have ensured that your paper
meets all requirements you are kindly invited to upload the
paper through the “Online Abstract/Paper Submission System”.

LANGUAGE
The official languages of the congress are Turkish and English. Simultaneous translation (English-Turkish and TurkishEnglish) will be provided during the Congress. Papers will be
published in the congress proceedings book in both languages.
EXHIBITION
An exhibition will be set up in the Congress Hotel for institutions and companies being active in mining and mineral
processing industry. It will provide a great opportunity to the
participants in respect to information sharing about the developments in mining technologies, new products and services.
