Hey Iverson Families!
We will be having our annual election for next year’s PTA Officers on May 19th. All candidates for officer
positions must be registered with the Nominations Committee by 9:00am on Tuesday, May 19th. Please
return this form to the school office. Voting will take place at our meeting that same day at 4:00pm. Only
current PTA members are able to hold a PTA Office and to vote.
The following positions are in need of filling. In addition to attendance at all meetings, a few of the job
duties are listed with each position:




President: Coordinate the work of all officers and committees, preside at all meetings, appoint
chairpersons of special committees, and attend council meetings, fundraising and other various
duties.
Vice President: Fill in for the President if/when needed. Participate in all board meetings and
general PTA meetings, coordinate fundraising opportunities, and various duties.
Treasurer: Ensure that the finances are properly handled, maintain accurate banking records ,
and participate in all bard meetings and general PTA meetings, fundraising and other various
duties.
Secretary: Record and maintain the minutes of the association, have a current copy of the
bylaws, maintain an up to date membership list, and attend council meetings, fundraising and
other various duties.
If you are interested in a position on the PTA board, please fill out the information below and submit it to
the office by 9:00am on Tuesday, May 19th. You must be in attendance at the election meeting on
Tuesday, May 19th at 4:00pm. The election meeting will take place in the Library.
