Commonwealth Bank, North West Metro 2015 JBA Small Business Awards Joondalup Business Association is proud to launch the Commonwealth Bank North West Metro 2015 Small Business Awards. This year online entries open 7th June and close on 8th August, 2015. Winners will be announced at a Gala Presentation night on 12th September, 2015 in the Joondalup Resort Grand Ballroom. The awards provide the opportunity for businesses, small and large, to have their achievements recognised, a chance to gain an advantage over your competitors and to give your business credibility over your customers. This year all entries will be submitted online to make it more convenient for busy business owners and will be judged independently by three well-respected business professionals. Please ensure you read the award guidelines before entering. Award Categories 1. Business of the Year. (fewer than 15 employees) 2. Business of the Year. (more than 15 employees) 3. Entrepreneur of the Year 11. People’s Choice. Get your customers to vote for you online. 2015 Award terms and conditions Entries for all categories must be lodged by 4pm 8th August, 2015. Late entries will not be accepted. Entries must be submitted through the online portal. A maximum of two award category entries can be submitted by any one business. Entrants must be based or operate within the North West Metro area (i.e. The areas within or adjoining the boundaries of the City of Joondalup). Judges may eliminate entries due to incomplete entry form or inability to meet the awards criteria. JBA board/committee members/employees are not permitted to enter the 2015 awards. Judging is based on the response to the awards criteria. The judges’ decision is final and no communication will be entered into regarding the awards judging. All information presented will be strictly confidential. The Joondalup Business Association coordinates the judging process. Three independent business professionals have been chosen to be on the judging panel and will make all final decisions. There will be no set finalists numbers for each category. Finalists will be notified a week prior to the Gala Awards night and invited to a finalist networking cocktail evening.
