Corrigendum and Addendum to the Prospectus 2015 JECRC University Jaipur A. Corrigendum Keeping in view the Applicants’ interest and regulatory requirements, it has been decided not to be hold JECRC University B. Tech. Entrance Test (JUBET 2015) and also to drop RPET 2015 from the criteria for preparation of Merit List for Admission to B. Tech. Programme in the Academic year 2015-16. Consequently following corrigendum is issued in the Prospectus 2015 and Application Form: S. No. Original Provision 1 1) First preference shall be given to the candidates having their merit in JU BTech Entrance Test (JUBET)2015 2) Seats remaining vacant, second preference shall be given to the candidate having their merit on the basis of score in JEE Main 2015 conducted by CBSE. 3) Seats remaining vacant, third preference shall be given to the candidate having their merit on the basis of RPET 2015. 4) Further seats remaining vacant admission shall be made on the basis of merit in qualifying examination considering all subjects. 2 3 Amended Provision On page 31, the criteria for preparation of Merit List for B. Tech. Programme shall be as under : 1) First preference shall be given to the candidates having their merit on the basis of score in JEE Main 2015 conducted by CBSE. 2) Further seats remaining vacant admission shall be made on the basis of merit in qualifying examination considering all subjects. University has deployed technology developed by India’s leading assessment agency to ensure fair and transparent conduct of online test. The candidates shall be allotted a designated computer system in the examination centre and shall be required to login using Application Sequence Number and Password as conveyed to the applicant through email. The questions shall appear on the monitor and the candidates shall submit answers by using mouse only. The computer system is connected to a Central Server which delivers the test in real time without web connectivity. All other functions are disabled in the machine and there is no Human involvement in the test. No formal computer knowledge is required to appear for the test. Other details and sample questions are also available on the University website. The dates of conduct of JUNEE 2015 are given in the Admission Brochure. Candidate only’ stands deleted. JU online / offline Test Centers on page 2 stand deleted. Application Form 7 B. Addendum 1) After ‘Note’ on page 84 at the end of the page following conditions are also added: ‘Note: Air Conditioners in the Hostels shall be normally operational from 1 st April to 31st October every year and shall be functional between 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM only during working days. However, ACs in the Hostel shall be working for 24 hrs. during Sundays and the University Holidays during the specified periods. 2
