M.Tech. Programme of IIT Gandhinagar in the …………………discipline. The terms
and conditions of your admission are enclosed herewith for your kind information.
You are requested to kindly send your confirmation with payment of the
relevant fees by 3rd June, 2011. Please refer to the enclosed note for the details
related to the fee submission.
You will receive financial assistantship during your M.Tech. programme at
the rate of Rs. 8,000/- per month and subject to the general Institute norms.
The registration of the new M.Tech. entrants is scheduled on 30th July, 2011 at
10.00 am. This will be followed by an orientation programme on the same day. The
classes of the upcoming semester will commence on 1st Auguts 2011.

Terms and Conditions for Admission to the M.Tech. Programme
All admissions are PROVISIONAL subject to fulfillment of all Academic and Non- academic
requirements. The Institute reserves the right to withdraw the admission at any stage in case a
candidate does not possess the minimum qualifications or does not fulfill any of the
requirements given on the Institute website/admission offer or gives any false information.
The M.Tech students are required to stay on the campus for a prescribed minimum duration
to complete their courses and thesis work related to graduation requirements. The students
are also expected to abide by all the rules and regulations of the Institute prescribed from time
to time.
Candidates who have not yet completed their qualifying degree (result awaited) should bring
a certificate from the Head/Principal of the Institute/College last attended about the status of
their final examination results. However, the passing certificates along with marksheets
must be submitted by 30th September 2011, failing which, their admission will be cancelled.
You are required to bring originals of the certificates for your educational qualifications, date
of birth, migration, caste / tribe certificate, etc. for verification on the day of registration.
