Headteacher Awards — Lucy Tibbits for On Thursday, Kitebrook held the 1st
French, Jimmy Cecil for improved
Great Egg Race at Kitebrook. We invited
handwriting and Eliza McPherson for her
3 other schools, Sibford, St Johns,
wonderful poem.
Congratulations to Mason Chambers for
achieving his Times Table badge.
Boarding
For the very first time here at
Kitebrook we now have a ‘boarders’
badge. Our full time boarders have
received theirs and for all other
current flexible future boarders
these badges will be given to those
children who board 20 times. Then
the badge is theirs!
Banbury and Windrush. They brought
teams of 3 runners to run a relay event
where each runner carried a raw egg
around the course and passed it to the
2nd
runner
etc. the
last
runner
had to
cross
the
finish line with some or all of their egg.
Despite a cold and blowy afternoon, the
children all really enjoyed the event.
There were some fantastic individual
performances from Alice Newton, Scrase
Duffy, Bob Rawlinson and Deven
Trotman. The U11 girls team all ran
superbly (Alice Newton, Lily Radford and
Imogen Shackleton) and won their
event. Huge congratulations to all the
runners who took part.
Mrs McLean, with bravery and
courage, joined the boarders in the
new playground in the dark, having a Matches Next Week
go on all the equipment. Both There are no matches next week.

Reception Class enjoying their first
'Rugby' themed PE lesson. The
lesson reinforced spatial awareness,
listening skills and ball skills. Great
fun was had by all!

On Wednesday morning our Preschool
and both of our Reception classes went
on a visit to Moreton-in-Marsh library.
Children had the opportunity to look at
the books, share their favourite stories
and enjoy story time with their class
teacher.
