ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Jeppiaar Engineering College was
started in the year 2001, by Jeppiaar
Educational Trust, promoted by renowned
Philanthropist and Industrialist Col. Dr.
Jeppiaar M.A., B.L., Ph.D, who works for
the technical education for more than 3
decades. The Institution aims of providing
excellent learning facilities by imparting
practical training, knowledge and skills to
the youth era. The college offers nine
Under Graduate Engineering programmes
and six Post Graduates Programmes. The
college has signed MoUs with research
organizations and industries to promote
closer interaction in the areas of
technology development, student training,
curriculum updating and establishment of
state-of-art-centers of excellence.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department offers a full time
B.Tech degree programme in Information
Technology. The department has well
qualified, experienced faculty members to
keep the students fine-tuned to the
requirements of the ever-changing world
of IT. The department is well equipped
with necessary laboratories and the
potential skills of the students are
improved by encouraging them to
participate
in
various
technical
competitions. The Department is certified
with ISO 9001:2008.
OBJECTIVE OF THE WORKSHOP
JEPPIAAR ENGINEERING COLLEGE
The Objective of this workshop is
to make the faculty members, students and
research people community to enlighten
their skill and knowledge in the areas of
cloud computing models and tools. The
perspective of the workshop is to gather
students, academicians and researchers
who are interested in the area of cloud
computing and to get hands-on experience.

ELIGIBILITY
The participants of this programme
include Faculty members, Research
scholars, Post graduate and Under
Graduate students of Computer Science, IT
and Professionals from Industries. A
maximum of 40 participants will be
allowed to attend the workshop. The
participants will be selected based on FirstCome First-Serve basis.
HOW TO APPLY
The participants should send their
registration form in the specified format
along with DD in favor of “Jeppiaar
Engineering College” payable at Chennai.
The dully filled-in registration form should
reach us on or before 25-03-15.
