Indigenous Employment • Our journey continues as we provide sustainable working opportunities for Indigenous Australians and develop relationships with Indigenous communities built on a foundation of respect. • Our aim to significantly increase the Indigenous proportion of our workforce, and we will continue to play a leading role in achieving this. • Accor is dedicated to providing support for our Indigenous employees and therefore has employed a variety of experts in the areas of Diversity, Recruitment and Career Development. • As of 2015, 3.7% of Accor’s workforce identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. • Each year indigenous applicants have gained employment with Accor through our Job Ready Program and we can continue to see our own Indigenous employees excel by graduating from our Indigenous Pathway Program. • Many indigenous partners are providing services to Accor through Supply Nation, and we have now partnered with the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation to provide Indigenous students with a direct pathway into the industry and Accor Hotels. • Accor’s indigenous employees are able to contact Alanah Scholes, Indigenous Careers Advisor, at [email protected] for advice and guidance as they grow and develop within the business.
