CONTEST RULES
Hunters of all ages are eligible to enter. Hunters must contact John
Bradburn of Johnny B’s Taxidermy (810-845-9096) prior to bringing in their
turkey for judging. All judging will be done at Johnny B’s Taxidermy, located
at 2130 E. Grand Blanc Road in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Judging will continue
now through the last day of the Spring 2015 turkey season, May 31. The
winning turkey will be determined by multiplying the sum of the spurs by
10 and adding that number to the length of the beard for a total.
CONTEST PRIZES
All participants in the Bag a Gobbler
Contest will receive a $25 certificate
good towards a turkey mount (full strut,
half mount, or tail) from Johnny B’s
Taxidermy. (See certificate for specific details.)
The First Place Winner will receive a
Turkey Half Mount valued at $375 from
Johnny B’s Taxidermy. A turkey half
mount includes the chest, wings, tail,
and head mounted on a plaque.
