VINAL is on the scene with an assault of dynamic, melody-driven funky folk and soulful rock n
roll. Equally comfortable unleashing a high energy dance party as they are crooning a stripped
back acoustic performance and allowing the songwriting to shine, VINAL takes the repertoire of
lead singer/guitarist Jonny Vinal (of Rack Em Let’s Go) to the next level. Additional vocals are
provided by Colleen McNamara, backed by a rhythm section of Jason Cerutti (of Rack Em Let’s
Go) on bass, Chris Narainen (of Blue Boy Productions) on drums, and Alex Russo (of Blue Boy
Productions) on keys. With such eclectic backgrounds and a collective appreciation for all

Thursday May 28th eMC Album Release Party! With The Lynguistic CIvilians (Hip-Hop)
On May 5th, 2015, eMC will release their 2nd full length album called ‘The Tonite Show’. The
album follows a day in the life of the fellas (Masta Ace, Wordsworth and Stricklin) as they
prepare for their first ever performance on the famed late night talk show. In a cool twist of life
imitating art, their mission is to turn this concept album into a reality! Being fans of The Tonight
Show, which features the great Jimmy Fallon and the legendary Roots Crew, it would be a dream
come true for the group to finally grace its stage. They’ll be celebrating the release of this album
at Johnny D’s and promoting their adventures on trying to make this dream a reality!

The Men Without Hats have been delivering high-energy shows packed with all of the band’s
absurdly catchy lyrics as well as great tracks from the new release, a disc that picks up right
where the hit-making band left off. “Sure, lots has changed in music over the last few decades, ”
says Ivan, ” but the world still loves a hooky song with a bit of edge that can get you thinking.”
And that’s exactly what the Hats deliver: tracks that will get you bopping across the dance floor

Thursday July 23rd 7PM Front Country (Bluegrass)
Formed in 2011 as a collective of the Bay Area’s finest young acoustic talent, Adam Roszkiewicz,
Jacob Groopman, Jordan Klein, Leif Karlstrom, Melody Walker and Zach Sharpe joined forces to
play a monthly gig with friends in San Francisco’s Mission District. In 2012 they won the
Rockygrass band competition in Colorado and followed up in 2013 with a win at Telluride
becoming the third band in history to win both contests. Also in 2013 lead singer Melody Walker
won the Chris Austin Songwriting competition at Merlefest and mandolinist Adam Roszkiewicz
was nominated for Grammy for his work with the Modern Mandolin Quartet on their album
"Americana". 2013 and early 2014 has seen Front Country break onto the national scene with
festival performances at Rockygrass, Old Settlers Music Festival, Wintergrass, Grass Valley
Bluegrass Festival and many others along with headlining performances at the Great American
Music Hall in San Francisco. In addition to performances at Telluride, Summergrass and IBMA's
Wide Open Bluegrass Festival, 2014 will see the release of their highly anticipated debut album
"Sake of the Sound" in September. "Front Country's willingness to stretch the bluegrass
boundary while maintaining the acoustic integrity of the music will solidify them as one of the
